Description Okay, so I've been in love with Kiliel since I saw Desolation of Smaug but I've been up at my parents' house without my computer. Now, finally, I'm back home with my computer so I redid a pose/sketch I had done on my iPad (not such a great drawing tool, but one does what one must) and turned it into this . . . another sketch, but I might clean it up later. If I do I'll have to fix their feet, right arms, and faces (to make them look more like themselves). Until then, though, you get this.

Kili and Tauriel belong to their respective owners.

I saw the Desolation of Smaug too when it first came into theaters. Smaug is my favorite character(even though he dies). Another favorite are the dwarves because they are too hilarious. I love your drawing. I wish you can draw my characters but I don't have money to pay you. It's just wishful thinking. Anyway, love the picture and I think it looks great!

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! I really enjoyed the Desolation of Smaug, I thought it was much better than the first one. I occasionally open requests, so if you keep your eyes out you can snag a spot and I'll draw your characters. Right now I don't even have commissions open since I'm kind of busy and trying to keep my free time to do my own projects.

I totally agree, I love to see a lot of action. When do you usually make open requests? I am sorting out my own characters because I can't find a decent name for a male character. I have seven characters but I am going to add an eighth character just to even things out. The title of my novel is Bloodlines so I am working on forming a good or decent storyline to write about. How do I get a spot for your open requests?

That sounds fun!

I usually open requests at the end of the year (Halloween and Christmas, though I didn't this year) and sometimes over the summer. I'll post a journal when I open them and if you message me quickly enough you'll get a spot and I'll draw something for you.

That sounds easy. Alright, I will be extremely aware of it. The title of my novel might change if the story doesn't match. I am going to practice on writing in first person but I will need your assistance with fixing all of the rough scenes. Plus, visuals helps me create a story.

Of course, Tara. I have already started on it though I can't decide on a title yet, I just left the title as Monica Dezerin until I can find something better to fit the story.

Don't mention it. It would be cool if you could illustrate my novel but it just a crazy idea. You don't have to do it if you don't want to because you're my friend.

Yeah, sorry, I just really don't have the time to do something like that. I don't really do illustration work, either.

Well, it was a good suggestion while it lasted, ha ha ha.  I have made my eighth character to fit the story and it is more or less based off of you since I'm making a character for you in my novel.  Hm, when I do get a spot on your open request, I will personally send you the character sheet with their ages, height, hair colors, and eye colors. Some of the characters aren't human and I will probably put their species down when I know how the story goes. Oh, I will be taking a writing class online on a website ed2go to work on my skills as a writer.

How flattering of you to make a character of me! That story sounds like fun. Good luck with your writing course.

It's the least I can do since you have helped me so much with my writing. I thought this was an excellent idea to create someone similar to you but not exactly. I also have another question, how do you form a story? Do you feel the story coming or through a dream?

I'm glad I could help you.

I usually find inspiration in random things in my daily life then use them to consciously create a story. I don't ever remember my dreams, so I don't get them that way. It really is a very conscious effort. I know the theory of the construction of literature so I use that to create a plot. It also helps that I understand my characters and their motivations so well that they become like little people driving events without my having to plan everything.

To me, my characters are like a play in my mind and I'm the director. But I mostly draw my ideas from dreams or a word from my creative mind.

It's always interesting how things work differently for different people.
