Everytime people said that pregnant women had a special "shine" I thought that was nothing but crap, like a somethign they said right after "your belly is HUGE!!" to make it a compliment instead of a comment that might sound rude... anyway, I was wrong, this is the first time in my life that I get to see that shine, there's is just this something about her, some specific kind of angelical beauty focused on her eyes specially, I mean I know she'd be beautiful with or without pregnancy, but it's pregnancy what makes her divine... wow, just wow

Mind blowing. Some people below pointed out how pregnancy shots 99% of the time are "tacky" and i have to agree. Usually when i look at a preggo portrait, to me it just looks like a bloated woman filled with a tremendous sense of false pride, who in their spare time regurgitate the same old "oh pregnancy is such a miracle" and then have contempt for the father.
This photo made me realize how much apathy myself and a lot of men have towards pregnancy. Idk, it kinda feels like that stare is for her partner, like saying shes not trying to cut him out, shes not stressed, and still interested. Basically this is awesome because it doesn't just focus on the mother child bond while leaving the father out of the picture; it's more of a family bond and much more realistic and genuine.
