I spent some time recently looking for pictures of two anthro guys being all lovey, hot, and sexy with one another. Surprisingly, I couldn't find a whole lot. That said, I adopted the mantra of, "If you want something done right, you must do it yourself." So I set to work on a series (currently still ongoing) of anthro yaoi sketches. This isn't the first in the series, but it's the first to be inked and finished, so it's first up. Hope you enjoy! ^.^Related content

Ah, I see. Yeah, I did notice that their heads were a bit on the larger side, but this was only my second time drawing these two, so I was still trying to get that hashed out. You don't have to apologise, though. Like I said, I'm very open to critique. I'm always looking for things I may have missed or things I can improve upon, so thank you.
So, anyway, I know it's been a while, but did that offer for that comic idea still stand? I'd love to hear it if you'd like to share.

Eh... Herms aren't really my thing, and I'm still not sure it'd be yaoi if there were herms. I think the reason you don't see boi herms is that without the presence of boobs you really can't tell it's not just male, y'know?

it's like a yaoi love triangle that straight guys can enjoy. (actually, it struck me now that it takes the lack of prescence of gay people as a given - like better days, or the mainstream television media, or disney movies (in all of my animated movie scripts i have at least one gay character who never says the orientation out loud...only problem is, FOTF boycotted Shark Tale because they thought LENNY was gay, so i shudder to think what this would do to my box office.
good for you! i've seen too many people who get addicted to their facebooks or farmvilles... i just don't see the appeal in being surrounded by humans talking about their boring day when they could be on here talking about their boring art (and in your case awesome art). XD

Yeah, I try to avoid that kind of thing because I, too, know people tend to get too caught up in that kind of thing, and start losing touch with reality and with the real people in their lives. So if I ever do get into it (which may not be for a while yet) I'll be doing my best not to get carried away.

GOOD. never do, it is everything that sucks about films these days all wrapped into one - bad cultural references, crass product placement, celeb voice cast as opposed to good voice cast, a plot that renders the characters unlikeable, racist references, and anti-drugness, off the shelf CGI because it's more appealing than talentedly drawn animation, and humor almost exclusively made up of 'see, get it? they're fish and this is their version of nike shoes! and the ocean version of the ipod!' that never actually becomes funny.
great. there's the people who think it's more important than the story. and i even have a house style in there.

i try to watch a mix so i know what to avoid. cautionary tales.
generally its as a result of all that that i developed 'wireball' storytelling.
quest for camelot is an excellent cautionary tale - michael Gagne's effects are exquisite but the film is actually painful to watch all the way through. XP and animation is so time consuming that generally if there are no good ideas in a major studio film, it means over the course of three years nobody in power had a better idea than this.
it's amazing - the film is worse ten minutes after you've shwon it than the 3 years youve spent working on it. Odd.

Hm. I see. Yeah, that tends to happen. I think the worst animated film I've ever seen is "Secret of NIMH 2." The original was great, so I mistakenly thought it would be as good. I want those 90 minutes of my life back.
