Just a little something I came up with a few years ago on a whim. I wondered what the embodiment of death might look like as an anthro character rather than the skeletal cloaked Grim Reaper of tradition, and this was the result.
I really like the skull markings on the face, and the sort of contemplative look she's got. I think that the skull she's holding must be a monkey skull or something, 'cuz I think it's too small for a human skull. She's a female for a reason, too. I wanted her to be female because, like a female, death itself can be gentle or harsh, cold or sweet and alluring. Y'know, all that stuff. The scythe is the shit, too, I think. I've always been a fan of that kind of design.
