Earthbenders like those Earth Dragons can also shape soil and stone...Like Toph from Avatar the Legend of Aang, huh?About the artwork, Young Ethranox (You can call him "Ethan" for short) alone tests himself how good is "earthshaping". He forms many columns made of soil using his earthshaping spell. After many random attempts to control the ground, he accidentally makes his last elevation highest where he stands. O..o
So he is trapped, and he can't fly when his wings are still small. But, to get down, he jumped from column to column by level.
He has to learn more earth spells. The main spells are, meteor shower, earthshaping, stoneskin and massive earthquake. ^^

I definitely agree. He's got a lot more practice to do before he becomes a master. Although if he's fighting somebody who can't fly, it's a great thing to do to escape or to trap them!

Well, hereΒ΄s a little problem with the illusion of the height, the things that make that illusion are those pinnacles or platforms. There must be a perpective point, that shows where they must follow all the lines content to create the perspective. Each one of the platforms is following different perspective points, so they canΒ΄t match together, as the result, the illusion of the height is lost.. I know is a complicated subject, but itΒ΄s the truth.
What i suggest you is that you must create a perspective point out of the drawing, and with the ruler, trr to make that all the platforms lines follow that point, and maybe the idea of the height my be kinda real. [link] here shows you what IΒ΄m trying to say, if you didnΒ΄t get me. I hope itΒ΄s helpful ^ ^

Ahh, the perspective point is an important thing to draw height of objects when the viewer's eye is on top of the whole area. Distance should be adjusted to create a good level of platforms.
Well, I messed up with those platforms, but it's really a new challenge when I draw those perspective landforms on top view ^^. And thanks for your helpful critic.

I love the prespective and the shading! I love how the dragon is red and the background are various shades of green and brown! The dragon really stands out! Th green also complemets the red dragon! Great work!
