Just sitting here doing nothing and found this image of this guy on my computer, it was a stock image I had gotten a ways back and well, I was listening too the FF-7 AC soundtrack and one thing lead to another and here's the result of what happens when you mix good music with art. I actually like how it came out, either I'm getting better or I'm lucking out with these...I think it's luck...
I couldn't come up with a decent title so that is what came into the head when it was all finished.

First of all - this is very well done. I do have one suggestion and I'm sorry if someone else already mentioned this. The katana is a little too short and it a little too curved toward his body. I didn't know if that was intentional, or not, but a traditional Japanese long sword doesn't quite fit that image. Only mean it as a helpful critique.

I used a photo as a reference..maybe it's the angle of the orginal cause I followed it 
and no I don't mind that someone tells me if something looks off it's how I improve. But thank you for liking it anyway.

Well as your quote says, it is easier to criticize. I don't have a lick of artistic ability (at least not in the visually artistic sense), but I do love to write and create fantastic worlds, people, and adventures. I have had those criticized in both just and unjust ways, so I try to be sensitive to someone's hard work. I looked at the picture again, and I think it may just be the angle of the blade, I didn't see it in quite the same way the first time. Either way though, great job! I wish I had your talent for artistry.[link]

well thank you...I'm like you I try to do the same thing as well, it's hard to tell people that if they did one little thing it would look better cause some people do take offence to telling them that they could do better if they did one thing different. I don't take offence to it since I am still learning and even if I did know things I still wouldn't get offended, there's no harm in suggesting something to help someone improve.

I'm going to be starting my own stock account just as soon as I can get my hands on a camera here seeing as my now ex-girlfriend and I had some "creative differences".
I will be reposting all the pictures of myself to that account, along with a few new sets I am planning.
