What I'm getting from this piece is that the figure is free but vulnerable. Clinging to the cage that kept him prisoner, and now that he's free he doesn't know what to do. Also he's just not who he use to be, and no longer sees the point in being free. I'm probably WAY off but that's what I got from this piece.
