This brings back some serious memories for me. My granddad lived on a road very similar to this. I would walk that road for miles on end as a teenager when I was learning to play the harmonica. A few miles away from his house was a beat up '34 pickup truck, overgrown with weeds and rusted through. I would sit there for hours while I played that harmonica.
Years later I went back. Truck was gone, but I still have that harp.

That is a beautiful story, i'm glad one of my photos could remind you of something so lovely. Old warn out cars really appeal to me, they always have—I had been looking for one for a long time when i came across this.

From a personal standpoint, the image is stunning. It strikes such a melodic chord with me, I can't see anything I don't like about it.

This speaks to so many things - desires, memories, pains and struggles. Tonally it is very good, and it's also very well composed. I love how the plant almost appears to be handling the wheel.

This reminds me of a grandfather reminiscing about the good old days. The road's right there, but he can't drive on it anymore. The blurry background gives it a feeling of remembrance or dreams. Very nice shot.
