For some reason, I absolutely adore that he has a wheelie chair. I've always imagined the furnishings to be sparse in there, but it WAS Dudley's room, and DuddersΒ MUST have the best.

I love your interpretation of a house-elf. Ah...I see what you did there! Bulging eyes would be harder to do, so Dobby has his eyes closed in consternation hehehhe.
Off all the fan-related things I've read and heard discussed, I still can't figure out how Dobby knew about the 'evil plan'.

I imagine he just overheard it. Luscious was probably talking Narcissa about getting rid of anything incriminating in case Arthur or the ministry found it and they probably came to a decision that they should plant the diary early. Maybe they thought they'd be killing two birds with one stone. Anyway, they probably didn't bother to lower their voices in front of Dobby!
