Description
Once in a while I like to go back to my older pieces and re-do them according to my current skill level. This is one of such cases. The original image: fav.me/d38g7cw wasn't bad, per se, but it bothered me because it wasn't correct as far as the character's clothing and the environment went. Losh was a gatherer. He used to spend entire days climbing trees, picking herbs, mushrooms, fruits and any other foods the lush forest had to offer. That line of work also included frequent running from predators and seeking safety among the tall trees, so comfortable clothing that wouldn't limit his movement and that would allow for silent sneaking by dangerous areas was essential. No capes, no excessive amounts of bare skin, no impractical footwear.

Another thing I wanted to improve on was the overall atmosphere of the image. A full moon night in the world where the moon covers up almost entire visible sky was bound to provide some spectacular lighting, and the old image didn't cover that too well. Also, those trees swaying in the wind would no doubt shed some leaves, too.

Ah, I could go on, so before I bore everyone to death, here it is - the very last night Losh spent in his home world, version 2.0.
