After I watched The Phantom of the Opera a little while back I was blown away by the correlations between the Phantom and Christine and the relationship between Ulquiorra and Orihime.
So many parallels I tell you!
This drawing kind of reminds me of some of *LimonadeGaby 's art...I enjoy her UlquixHime drawings based of certain themes, such as Titanic, and Beauty and the Beast

The Phantom of the Opera is a chilling tale interlaced with darkness, despair, love, and redemption. The Phantom is a broken soul who yearns for beauty, but lives in a hell.

I'll list some of the correlations I noticed scene by scene!:

-Think of the Stage as the World of the Living, then the Phantom's lair beneath the stage as Hueco Mundo/Las Noches.
-The two phantoms clearly become fascinated/interested in the women's' abilities.
-Raoul clearly is the Ichigo here whom Orihime falls in love with >: P
The Phantom shows himself to Christine through the mirror where he brings her to his lair. - The mirror, like a garganta where Ulquiorra goes to her personally and then later brings her to Hueco Mundo.
-One must know that the masks of the Arrancars are actually their 'hearts'. The mask of the phantom...a way to hide his 'deformity', his lack of understanding of the man behind the monster. The scene in the beginning where Christine removes his mask, his outburst- can parallel with the 'Heart-talk' in Bleach.
-Both phantoms are often violent and cruel.
-Christine and her love confession to Raoul. – Orihime’s confession to a sleeping Ichigo
-The scene after the Masquerade where the Phantom appears and walks down the stairs >w< Just like Ulquiorra did confronting Ichigo as he too strutted down the stairs xD
- The masquerade scene can correlate also with Ulquiorra confronting Grimmjow on taking Orihime and has come to take her back. –
The Phantom taking Christine to the cemetery- Raoul runs after her- similar to Ichigo finding out about her kidnapping and racing rescue her. Then confronting the Phantom and the fight ensues! "Now let it be war upon you both!" (Phantom) Ulquiorra wanting to kill Ichigo and Have Orihime know despair.
-The blackmail "He kills without a thought, he murders all that's good, I know I can't refuse, and yet I wish I could."
-Why the phantom asks, does she choose Raoul. - Orihime using her Shun Shun Rikka to protect Ichigo.
-The final scene where the Phantom takes Christine to his labyrinth, she sees his face...no longer afraid.
"This haunted face holds no horror for me now. It's in your soul that the distortion lies -on which Raoul appears! The Phantom delighted in fighting him once more. – The real fight starts between Ichi and Ulqui.
-"Christine, let me see her" "Be my guest, sir...Monsieur, I bid you welcome, did you think that I would harm her? why would I make her pay for the sins which are yours!?" Christine in the middle of the conflict, Phantom attempts to hang Raoul/strangle him- Like Ulquiorra in segunda etapa, strangling Ichi with his tail.
-“Pitiful creature of darkness...god gave me courage to show you, you are not alone.” (Christine) ----
The kiss scene with Phantom and Christine and him letting Raoul free- equivalent of Ulquiorra telling Ichigo to kill him, and reaching out to Orihime.
-Christine gives the Phantom the ring- Orihime entrusting her heart to Ulquiorra.
Beautiful yet tragic…

"He'll kill you, his eyes will find us there...those eyes that burn...If he has to kill 1000 men the Phantom of the Opera will kill. Who is this man who hunts to kill? I can't escape from him." (Christine)
"I've been there, to his world of unending night, to a world where the daylight dissolves into darkness...Yet in his eyes all the sadness of the world; those pleading eyes which both threaten and adore." (Christine)
"I'm here, nothing can harm you" (Raoul)
"All I want is freedom a world with no more night, and you, always beside me..." (Christine)
"Your chains are still mine, you belong to me!" (Phantom) Shows possessive nature.
-"I have brought you...in your mind you've already succumbed to me, dropped all defenses completely succumbed to be. No second thoughts you've decided.” (Phantom) - correlates to Ulquiorra telling Orihime to come with him, that it is not a negotiation, but an order, she only has one option; also Ulquiorra explaining to Nnoitora that Orihime cannot escape, she no longer has the will to attempt to betray them.
-“Lead me , save me from my solitude.” (Phantom)
-“Down once more to the dungeons of my black despair...That fate which condemns me to wallow in blood..." (Phantom)
