this is a celebration pic for my 94 in design class: D!

this is Kenichi... he loves sushi..the only problem is.. he works in a sushi bar...
and he is suppose to be working.. but yet.. is so lazy.
he dreams of making the best sushi ever... a sushi so great... the gods would
crumble in orgasmic joy of such great taste... and i'm a dork..
(random japanese in the pic: Nihon-japan, kante- bite me, osushi-sushi, oishii- delicious)
media: prismacolor markers, sakura micron 01 pen for lineart..and a little bit of white gouche for some highlight..
time: about a good 3 hours or so.

I love Kenichi. May I keep him as a pet. I would gladly feed him sushi for I love teh sushi as well. *pets Kenichi and makes a weepy eyed face* Peeeeeze? *my boys drag me away * NOOO NOOO LET ME HAVE HIM!!! NOOO!! Im crazy...Forgive me. But this composition as well as the colors make me so happy. I just love his expression like, 'What? You have something to say?' Its priceless. ^^ Great job. ^^

Yuuummmmm! Love sushi... oh and he is pretty cute too! Used to dig eel until I had too much once. Kinda ruined it for me.. a little too sweet. Never had it with egg though.. maybe that would tone it down some for me! lol.. look at me talking about food again and not art.. sorry.. *snicker*

Oooh. I get it.. heh... not a combo.. *check* Homemade sushi rocks. My mom's partner is Japanese and I get hooked up pretty good over here. Her brother has a sushi lunch place close by as well.. so there is often something yummy in the fridge when I go poking my head in it. I can kinda make my own.. but it is always better when someone makes it for me. PLus I'm the only one in the house that really appreciates it anyway. Making it just for myself is just not as fun.. and quite filling. Just pile me up with a plate of tuna and I'm good to go! ....damn.. sorry for the hijack.. hahaha.. Enjoy your trip to Huston when you go! Eat well for me!
