I've never heard of this fable, but it looks interesting! Do you know where I might be able to find it? When I Google it, I just get a bunch of references to "The Lion and the Mouse" and parenting sites. XD

I incorrectly translated the title I suppose. Should it be "Upbringing of the Lion"? Anyway this fable was not translated to other languages I guess

Oh, now that I know it's a Russian fable, I added that to my search and I think I found it! Is it about the Lion king sending his son to the eagles to learn to be a good ruler, but all he learns is about the needs of birds and not the needs of his own subjects? If so, I see it online under the name "The Education of the Young Lion." And it was translated to English, so I could read the whole thing.
