Lovely paint-like textures! I'm not into flames so please pardon me for the stupid question: why do you need 2 programs? Apo to explore and design params, and Chaotica for rendering? Thanks!

Yup, exactly... Also chaotica offers better imaging options, so there is no need for post processing etc.

Chaotica is also great for changing the flame with the Shaders and Selectors, which can actually make the flame look entirely different than what you got made in Apophysis 7x. You are also able to adjust the color curve, brightness and gamma in Chaotica.
The rendering is also faster and much cleaner (I think it looks so much better).
