Description
This is an acrylic painting of Mei (Ziyi Zhang) from the wonderful movie "House of flying daggers".I simply love this movie, and I find the final scene amazingly beautiful.... *sigh*
I had a hard time finding a reference picture for this painting, so I just paused my dvd player and sat in front of the tv *giggles*
I painted this on a quite large canvas, and the process of scanning it was brutal!
In the end I had to put 4 pieces together!
All in all I had fun making this. I rarely paint, but I think I`ll be doing more paintings in the future now. I`m even toying with the idea of trying out oil paint!
