The New Hogwarts Trio: Scorpius Malfoy, Albus Potter, and Rose Weasley.I'm not really big on doing the whole photo-manipulation thing, but I really just wanted a picture--a PHOTOGRAPH--of the New Trio in their Hogwarts robes, but of course there aren't any. So I made one.
Those are the kids who play them in the Epilogue in DH2, of course (Bertie Gilbert, Arthur Bowen, and Helena Barlow), Photoshopped on top of an old photo of Ron, Harry, and Hermione from either Stone or Chamber, I can't recall which.

This makes me happy that somebody else things that this is the new trio. But I always thought that Rose would be in Ravenclaw.

Yeah, in my head, it's definitely a toss-up. ONE of Ron and Hermione's kids is gonna be in Ravenclaw, and the other in Gryffindor. WHICH is really anyone's guess. Rose got picked because it was funnier to have two Slytherins be BFFs with a Gryffindor than with a Ravenclaw! But I can see her going either way.

Well unfortunately there aren't really a lot of even-half-decent-quality photos of the kids on the 'net, so far as I can find at least (okay there are lots of Bertie, but he's always making the most impossible faces), so I don't see many more photo-manips in the future...but I know I'll keep drawing the New Trio, at least. I might even try and base one or two on the actors, although I usually try to avoid portraiture when it comes to fictional characters...

yeah that would be so great, I mean so many people want to see more of them but now it's like they just don't care about them. so they were only in the movie for a few minutes but they still play a mega part of the fan's life. if you know what I mean.

That is Bertie Gilbert, actually, believe it or not. He just looks different when he's not making silly faces, I guess.

Neat idea, there's a place for photo-manipulation, but I tend to agree with you that I'd rather create my own than manipulate others' work. You did a good job on this one, it's quite convincing.
