Yeah, I prepare gifts in advance so early.Besides, did you know that in Russia New Year is a much more important or large-scale celebration than Christmas, unlike in Europe? The Christmas Tree and presents, Russian Santa, the magic night -- that is all about New Year. And people often celebrate this night for a whole week I mean, the holidays last for 1-2 weeks (depends on your job/school, etc), but there`s a joke that we`re drinking for a week after (and sometimes even before) the celebration itself.
