Description
This is Godzilla as I envision him for a story I'm working on called KING OF THE MONSTERS.Godzilla is 340 feet tall and dark gray with burning orange-white eyes.

Considering the blend between the original Goji and the dino-like qualities you included in this version, I think that this would work for the 2014 reboot design. In fact, your version kind of looks similar to the one in the silhouette photo

Honestly, his tail should be a little thicker, at least at the base if anything. I agree.
Also, I had to reduce the length so I could fit it all in the picture. Just imagine it was longer.

dude im not going to lie... but this is one of my favorite redesigns of godzilla ever! seriously its perfect and you need to get Legendary pictures to look at this ASAP!
i made a drawing/story about godzilla being originally a "theropod-like" synapsid. you should check it out. its basically why your godzilla is perfect. its not a dinosaur! XD

Actually, I always thought of Godzilla either as his own class of creature or a hyper-evolved mammal-like reptile that survived the extinction event.
I can't see him being a T-Rex like creature at all. The external ears are clear evidence of that.

yeah in my story/fact sheet on my "Gojiranops" (basically gojirasaurus) is basically about a few giant synapsids (like gorgonops) surviving the Permian-Triassic extinction to live among dinosaurs. than as part of a divergent evolution they evolve to emulate theropods.
i'm a paleo-nerd! XD

..and the three hundred-foot-tall statue goes to... Yeah. Aside from kinpachiro Satsuma being an awesome name, he was the best Godzilla. If you look up episodes of a show called Japanorama on youtube. There's one were he demonstrates his style in competition with the guy who played "G" in Gmk. Satsuma is obviously the better performer as admitted by the other guy. He says:"The Satsuma style became the true Godzilla, you know. I could not deafest it. He is the greatest and most influential."

Yeah... I saw a supposed leaked image of a head and neck sculpt claiming to be a possible concept for the new Godzilla in an American film. (Fake of course.) I hated how everyone gushed over how it would be a great design.(It looked like the previous U.S. Zilla without the chin and dewlap.) I hated it. So, I did my own.
