i have no idea as to why i decided to make this on paint, but at least im happy with it!

Class: Euclid

Living conditions: SCP-5772 is to be kept in a spacious room with two large branches propped up against the walls to allow it to climb, with a temperature at about 75 degrees Celsius (167 Fahrenheit). A heating lamp is to be positioned in the back of the room, with tall, artificial grass and rocks to allow it to hide. One guard is to be stationed by the containment chamber, strictly no more than one unless SCP-5772 expresses behavior of wanting to escape. Personnel attempting to enter the room must be checked for strong-smelling substances (perfume, alcohol, medical appliances), shiny objects (necklaces, rings, etc.), and cannot bring more than two people with them. Feedings are to be carried out by releasing live rabbits, setting out raw ham and other raw meats, and dousing raw substances with calcium before exiting the room to allow it to eat in solitude. Surveillance cameras are to be placed in each corner of the wall, but must be implanted within the wall to prevent SCP-5772 from pulling them out in curiosity. After exiting the containment chamber, all personnel must be disinfected, and to incinerate any objects taken from the chamber. All personnel leaving the containment area must have a mental check-up in the medical bay.

This is SCP-5772, AKA ''The Masked Menace''. SCP-5772 appears to resemble a distorted humanoid creature, with sunken-in ribs, and digitigrade hind legs that extend longer than the front legs, causing it to constantly move in a lurking crouch. It has long, spindly fingers, topped with sharp talons and two thumbs, with large, human-like palms. It has no fur; just calloused black skin. It has a long, broad neck, capable of stretching three feet away from the shoulders. It is often bunched up when not inspecting something. It stands at 8'2 tall. SCP-5772 appears to be genderless. It has a long, thin tail.

The mask, however, is an entirely different story compared to its body. The mask seems like it is constructed entirely out of bone; bones belonging to what, is yet to be discovered, as samples taken matched with no known DNA (and promptly grew back afterwards). There are two dark holes carved out in the mask, where large, blank eyes peer from. These eyes seem to have pupils that are dilated constantly. The eyes do not blink. Emotionally vulnerable Class-D often report a sensation of intense paranoia and fear when in SCP-5772's room or when close to it, and will even try to claw their way past other Class-D and personnel in an attempt to escape it.

There is a line vertically stretching down the center of the mask. It was unknown of its importance until they attempted to feed it. The mask split open to reveal a gaping mouth filled with rows of teeth, three tongues, and a throat spiraling with more teeth. SCP-5772's feeding behavior closely resembled a venus fly trap, for it grabbed the live rabbit it was given, and held it in between its mask, all the while coating it with its saliva, potent with digestive enzymes. This leaves the question: Why would it need teeth in its throat if it is only going to turn its prey into liquid? Scientists are still examining it until the answer appears. SCP-5772 does not seem to become dirty, nor defecate. It does, however, seem to excrete a thick, oozing black liquid from the line trailing down its mask. It was discovered that this substance was, in fact, the subject's way of detoxing, for when samples were taken, DNA matched up to the hair and bones of the rabbit it recently consumed. However, the black that comes with it is unknown, and somehow doesn't expel an odor.

As for SCP-5772's behavior, it appears to be passive, unless provoked. Examples of irritating it are filling the room with too many people (specifically, five), strong smells like perfume, and loud noises. It is extremely curious, and fascinated by shiny objects. It will go to extreme extents to take them and collect them, even resorting to injuring personnel or destroying equipment to get to them. In fact, SCP-5772 was detained willingly with the use of shiny knick knacks. It is not known why the subject is so fixated on shiny objects. As curious as it is, it is extremely solitary, and will get violent if presented with too many people. SCP-5772's intelligence is unknown, but it appears to be capable of problem-solving and close observation.

SCP-5772's discovery took place inside the home of an elderly lady, residing in Greenville, North Carolina. The woman, known by the name of Rose McHathy, told reporters that The Masked Menace must've followed her home during the night, when she was returning from a family reunion ten miles away. The woman was wearing shiny jewelry for the occasion, explaining SCP-5772's reasoning for breaking into her home. Rose explained that she was sitting on her couch, just about to put on the TV to catch up on the news, when she heard her window shatter upstairs. Frightened that it was a robber, she locked herself in her bathroom and dialed for the police.

When the authorities arrived to investigate the incident, they came upstairs to find the eight foot tall creature, digging around in her jewelry box inside her bedroom with one hand, tightly clutching makeup supplies, necklaces, rings, and a cat collar with a shiny name tag in the other. Police contacted the SCP Foundation after their loud gunfire triggered the subject to have a violent reaction, killing one of the policemen, and injuring three others.

After the Foundation's arrival, SCP-5772 was led willingly into detainment after being lured in with a rhinestone-studded bracelet.
