Description breed: československý vlčák (czechoslovakian wolfdog)
breed developed by crossing between German shepherd and Carpathian wolf. But! It's not half- dog, half-wolf, it's the fourth generation (F4), which means that in each of these four generations German shepherd blood was added. So he posseses "only" about 6% of wolf blood, but he still looks like wolf and in many cases behaves like it. This breed has a quite fast understanding, is very intelligent and faithful. But it's definitely not a dog for everyone.
Character of this breed is very strongly pursueded and unsuitable dogs are rejected of breeding.

i own a wolf-dog and i love him to death. despite what others say he really is better than any of my previous dogs. i was almost not allowed to adopt him because his wolf blood content was a little over 50% and he is mixed with German Shepard , but eventually they decided that i could have him and i feel so blessed that they did. He is really big even if he is half wolf and he is mostly black with a little white, but he looks like a full blood wolf

I love these wolf-looking breeds. They look more wolf than a lot of wolf hyrbid pictures I find xD; What a face this one has, such markings c:

and the funny thing is they are not even a wolf-hybrids but a "regular" breed . yes, it has some wolf content in it but it's officially recognized by the FCI (together with Saarloos Wolfhond)

I didn't know they weren't recognized as not being wolf hybrids. I always did find it weird that Bengal cats are often recognized as domestic cats but wolf-y looking breeds don't feel like they would be. That's good though :'D
