I wasn't looking for a new series to do. Truth be told, I already have more ideas than I have time, but ~zhangshiqi just had to post all of these wonderful butterflies and this is what I see in them. The muse demands to be appeased.I love this!

beautiful job my dear! really beautiful. i love to see things from behind, it gives you a different perspective on the whole situation, like we are spying, or sneaking about. i was actually working on something a lot like this, but will prolly never finish it, and cant top yours
My only suggestion... would be the bottom wings, they seem off to me, they dont pop enough, maybe if you had made them the same color or in the same shade as the top ones...

I see your point about the wings, but that's the crux of a delimna that I've been pondering with the next in this landscape fairy set. The wings are actually that coloration originally and part of the appeal to me was that they naturally blend in with the landscapes I'm putting them up against. Sort of this tiny thing (in the scheme of things) in alignment with the enormous world around it. I'm kind of leary of changing the coloration of the butterfly wings for that reason. Does that make any sense? It's still up for debate though. I haven't decided if I want to stick to my guns and remain true to the original butterflies or if I want to adjust them for artistic purposes... if you know what I mean.

i totally understand what you mean about the wings. i just thought they blended too much. if you are creating a magical world, and fairy tale of sorts i just figured it should be more...bright? i dont know. just my

I had played with the glow, but it washed out the sky. But I just did a quick edit (for the font) and blurred the moon a bit.. I think it looks like what you were suggesting now. Thanks for the opinion!
