"I'M MARRIED TO A CHILD!"
That was the prevailing sentiment when Arthur, Hayato, Hinata, and Benny returned from what was supposed to be a night of fraternal bonding looking like they'd picked a fight with Grima's little brother...and lost. In defense of these misguided menfolk, their hearts were in the right places. Benny is still a bit shy, and his seemingly menacing demeanor can keep most at arm's length, at least. So, his friends decided that the best solution was to take him to a bar, get everyone good and drunk, and let the magic of alcohol help make strangers into friends.
What could possibly go wrong? Everything, apparently.
Kagero is displeased at having her sculpting interrupted, Nyx is still put out by how Hayato's "solution" to her agelessness turned her into a butterball, Peri was not easily dissuaded from making barbecue out of those who'd harmed her "precious little schoompy-whoopykins", and Rinkah thinks they got what they had coming for leaving her out of a manly get-together. As for Orochi, she can tell that, for all their grousing, her friends are happy with their husbands. She, however, will enjoy her bachelorette status for a bit longer.

If I had to sum up this pic in a single phrase, I suspect it would be 
...well, I could leave it at that, but brevity has always been my weak point.
Overall, though this was a complicated and demanding project, I'd say you rose to the occasion admirably. Despite not being the intended focus of the fic, you did a fine job drawing the mangled menfolk. Hayato's bruises, scab, and broken sandal strap, Hinata's torn hakama (right term?), Benny's chest plate being cracked, how one of his poleyns (knee guard) is cracked and the other having fallen off, and Arthur's armor looking downright un-salvageable fits how I imagined them to come back from their ill-fated get together while planning the fic with . So ditto for their expressions. Arthur and Benny's in particular underscores just how ridiculous the whole situation was.
Moving on to the those hogging the spotlight, in more ways than one 
The various detailing you put on the ladies is also excellent. Aside from their expressions, the way you had Kagero bespangled with marble dust from her sculpting, those sweat stains on Nyx's robes, and Orochi's flushed and sweaty appearance augment this pic splendidly, and you also did great on their clothes. And, last but not least, the background is phenomenal. You did an awesome job adapting those refs on feudal Japanese interiors. The designs on the walls and the patterns on the floors also show a keen eye for detail and precision. That easel with the work-in-progress is also a nice touch, and showcases your skill, as it must've been tricky to add in a small, partial image and then draw a covering over a good portion of it.
All in all, this was well worth the wait...weight...whatever, and I'm glad you got as much out of it as I did. Thanks so much, and I hope your Watchers share my appreciation.
