my head canon for this is that error sans got bored one day and found the Disney multiverse proceeded to kidnap a random beast and attempt to tie him up and then left to find a couple-a anomaly's in that multiverse to kill and beasts just sitting there thinking "what the fuck"

I think one of the big reasons why a lot of people are frosty to the Beast’s human form is that we haven’t seen enough of his expressiveness in that form. Personally I remember his reactions to seeing Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts and others also returning to human form, and finding it heartwarming. Also I imagine the ‘getting used to human form again’ transition period would’ve been fun to see.
