I also like the idea of Frisk learning magic when they get a bit older

I also believe that Papyrus can use the Gaster Blasters, as hinted by what he says about his special attack in an aborted Genocide. When you think about it, he is probably more powerful than Sans, its just that he doesn't use it because he doesn't want to hurt anyone. So when he does have to use it, it probably scares him to no end.
