The Winter War is one of those WW2 side notes that gets eclipsed by the ongoings in the rest of Europe. For the few who do , most images that come to mind are Finnish ski troops surrounding and slaughtering hapless Soviet conscripts or the legendary "White Death" Simo Häyhä racking up an impressive kill count (bonus fact, he outlived the Soviet Union)
