Another work on the Youtube sensation hiphop violinist Lindsey Stirling, based off one of her music video We Found Love. Truly beautiful, if you haven't seen it, check it out :[link]So i've been wanting to do another work on Lindsey Stirling, and one of my favorite music videos of hers was her cover of We Found Love by Rihanna, which was filmed in Kenya by Devin Graham of devinsupertramp [link] , and which featured some local artists like Alicia Popat.
So i decided to use colored pencils, something i have not used in quite awhile. Partly because i never was that great with it, or had much experience or faith in myself to be able to deliver. But i wanted to try and make something that would stand out from what i usually do, get out of my comfort zone and such.
So this took me about 8 hours to do. Used 24 Faber-Castell colored pencils that i had relieved (stole) from my little sister (who never used it and had just bought a 48 set anyway) I'm not that great with colored pencils, i see a lot of mistakes i that i made here and there, but i think it's still pretty good.

i haven't used colored pencils in awhile, and part of me was wondering why the hell was i doing it! but i felt that i needed to, had to, use colored pencils to get the feeling, the emotion, the mood out.
