Yeah, I am filled with a reckless thirst for this year ahead ... there's just something alluringly wondrous about it.
We'll have to see what she reveals over the months to come. But I can say for certain that it's glorious to have survived some crazy past years to see what this one has in store.

Thanks for the Joan Jett link Terry ... I noticed that the video started with the image of a Triumph Bonneville. During the sixties I made a couple o' trips to London to pick up a Bonneville. The dealer was sort of snippy ... as if I could just waltz in and buy a Bonneville. haha So, I bought a TR6R (like a Bonneville but with just one carb) and a couple of years later when I attempted to buy a Norton Commando I was given the same snotty treatment. I left with a Triumph TR6C (the model with the side pipes.) They were considered "bad boy" machines back in the day. Nowadays they're seen as antiquated two-wheelers, fit only for a leisurely trip around the block.

Yes, ages it seems; at least a few seasons for certain.
Being absent so long it felt right to come around and share some time with friends before Midnight kisses the year goodbye.
2014 pressed hard on my hours and senses but such times only come to call forth our finest qualities which otherwise remain untried and dormant within us. You know me by now, in the sense that so long as I've not been swept from the Earth I will find my way, with a smile, to contentment before very long. And so it is, here on this threshold between years.
And you?... Eyes forward and heart high ... with love somewhere near your shoulders?
I wish it so and more still in year spread out before us!
