Update Added more visual, gave a more solid color base to hair and eyes / Depicted her outside of work / Update in BIO! Important Bio Updates
~May is a beginner witch, she acquired an interest in magic after starting to work for Amalathia at the Crescent Moon at the age of 18.
~She has a birthmark on her inner thigh (this does have a reason, but its a secret)
~She usually wears that button tie (depicted above) at work and out. It's a memento of her dearly deceased mother.
Why Mostly Sketches? I think sketches usually work best for character designs, because it gives the chance to show different glimpses into their personality where as if it was only one really good picture, you would only be seeing one side to them. (*said in comments*)

I used stock- right now I'm trying to find the link to the one I used so I may give credit. ^_^
Usually, if you just have a B+W lineart that you want on stock paper, you can copy/paste the lineart onto the stock in photoshop and then just change the layer setting to multiply.

The Inn/Bar is owned and run by a Wiccan who feels that none of her staff should ever wear anything in the least bit bland. The outfits are also a sort of side attraction for it.
The Inn/Bar doesn't really have a name yet (I have yet to think of one that doesn't sound corny), but it is a also a sanctuary for mystical beings.

Also, since my friend pointed out that there is no exact birth year. The year is not specified due to exact year she is in is undecided; Early 1900's or 2200's. My friend would like me to use her in his story, and therefore it would depend on the year his story is taking place but since he hasn't gotten around to writing it, I figured it was best to just specify Year of the Tiger, for a general grasp of her birthday and year, instead of relying so soon on a specific year.

Thanks ^_^ She is still in development- I'll probably be updating her whenever I get the chance to all the way up until the contest finish; by which I hope to have all aspects of her fully composed and ready to go.
She just got her first update since I posted her, which isn't too bad considering all the time restraints I've had. She is growing into herself and I'm quite happy.

It sounds like an interesting contest, but I'm not sure I can just create a character for the sake of contest. I either have to let them ferment over time(which would then make them an old character), or have a random chance of accidentally drawing one of my characters wrong, and creating a new character out of it(it's happened before, but rarely).

Yeah, I have that problem too really... >____>; But I really like having a lot of characters...I know it's probably bad in some way, not being able to focus on all of them, but I think it's a lot more fun to have a pool of characters to choose from to use in different plots and whatnot. Otherwise it's like Scooby-Doo or countless other shows/comics where every episode/chapter is practically the same as the one before it.

The hair looks nice. I don't know enough about women's hair styles to offer suggestions anyway. One thing I did noticed is that the tie just seems to stop. Maybe it's not a tie. I'm not sure.
