Description glitteringpeaches wonderful OC Nina, from her upcoming web comic Gem.

Her hair and such is a little different.... hopefully you don't mind Peaches, I thought it'd be fun to draw her with a bun style.
As she has pink as a main colour in her design, it made me think of Sakura Blossoms. (and because it's spring now there's finally some blooming around too). Her clothing ending up looking a little formal.

Anyway, I hope you like it!

p.s did you guess I was going to draw Nina for you?

edit: I decided I didn't like the scanned version (messed up the colours) so I've used a photograph instead, and many some minor edits. Hopefully the colours look better on other monitors too now.

This looks so pretty photo wise too! ^^ In fact, seeing from the tiny thumbnail that hasn't updated on my front page, I actually kind of do like this better. The skin color and everything feels warmer imo and natural. The face looks super well done in here too. ;-; I do like this more that I have seen it!

Thank you Peaches, that's great to hear. Hopefully it's conveyed on others monitors too, but I really prefer the colours on this one (the scanner just didn't convey them well, and made it look splotchy Dx )

Yeah, I'm leaning towards not using my scanner so often now. And I like how photos usually pick up the texture of the paper more.

GAH. I LOVE THIS PIECE! It's so colorful! *_* and no, I adore her dress! *o* Β Is that sheer on top too? Cause it's such a creative and cute designed dress! I think this is one my favorites from you, because the colors and even her expression are so well done. It's really given a warm and spring vibe to it. It's so perfect! And I love her hair! XD I always draw her with it to the side, so I really enjoy seeing you change it up! (Like in the art trade piece we did before!) I really love this! Yes! I'm not sure why but I could imagine her also wearing a bun. But I'll have to do her hair more like your original in the future too ^0^

Ahaha, I wasn't sure, it's because I was interested in Nina's fashion ref before, it was for her bjd, but thought it would be cool for drawing her too. Though same with her hair I wanna do her original outfit too. (I did the sketch where I didn't have access to ref originally). But her outfit is super unique and awesome too. I really like her hoodie top combo. <3

Honestly, I can see her wearing these hairstyles every now and then to change it up, so it really works wonderful imo! It's fun to see your take on her too!
