Description This shot is taken from Loughrigg Terrace or a little higher up the the Loughrigg. Most likely the second, as when I'm out hiking (or just walking around nature), and I see a hill or something that you can walk up without any special gear (aka those vertical walls!), I always get that rush and start climbing till I get to the top and am able to see everything from nearly a birds eye view. This view is in particular very pretty: the little town of Grasmere in the back of the lake, located in between impressive mountains in The Lake District, U.K. It was a very nice walk after another day at the Congress I went to in June! Taken a little past sunset, so it might have been around 10pm local time or so.

C&C welcome! (stole that line from somebody! )

"I always get that rush and start climbing till I get to the top"... yes, I know - I watched you standing on top of a slippery rock in the middle of a waterfall, you know !!
This is a wonderful picture, but I wonder when I'll see some Norway stuff

Umm... umm... do you mean the waterfall on the road to Kirkenes? (forgot the name of the waterfall!). Hehe, and the funny thing is that... I can't swim! But... you really have to read the comment I put on the photo I just posted: "outback". Norway is coming soon, I started today by copying the photos to my harddisk: I still had them only on the CD's we brought! (I had copied some for the video, but now I have them all! )

Yepp - Neiden is the river (and the place) and the waterfall is called Skoltefossen. And you were really lucky that I didn't know about your lack of swimming ability - i would have given you a serious scolding, you know !!

hahaha! It's funny that I just replied to a message where I could have used the information you wrote to me in this message!

Well... to be honest, I was more worried when we went to the Bird colony! However, the worry quickly ended when I saw how amazing everything was!! (i was however very careful not to go too close to the edge, hehe )
