Description
+Lewis's POV+
As I watched the three men goof off, I sighed to myself as I thought. Emile kept punching a couple of trees, while Tim and Jon went out mining, it felt like watching memories of when me and Simon did whatever before Israphel became a threat. The good times when I didn't
even know what a creeper was. That one time I almost got shot in the head by an arrow, but my dwarf friend saved me most of the time.
"Good times," I murmured.
"Uh... who are you talking to?" Emile began poking my cheek, I pushed it away becoming annoyed.
"Oh nothing, did you get enough wood?"
"Enough? I chopped down a thousand trees!" Emile said, I could tell he was exaggerating "Look Lewis, see I chopped the whole forest."
To my surprise he was right, not a single tree in sight. All that was left was a couple of leaves floating in the air.
"Wow, good job!" I felt shocked, this kid has a lot of energy.
"Are you proud of me?" he asked in a sweet voice.
"Yeah, whatever, I think the sun is going down."
"Okay!" Emile began rushing towards the house. I began my trek back to base. Although, I have a feeling I was forgetting something.
+Tim's POV+
It's so stuffy down here, luckily we have Simon who knows the way back. I kept following Jon, who was also behind Simon.
"Um... I think we're lost," Simon said as he turned towards us. Suddenly, I could see a lot of red glowing eyes around the others.
"Guys," I said, sadly they didn't hear me.
"Do you remember where we went, Jon?" Simon asked.
"Guys," I pointed towards the eyes.
"What?" they both asked. They followed my arm to where I was pointing, they glanced slightly to fangs and different colored creatures.
"We should run."
"Yeah!"
"GO,go, go!" I yelled trying to run away from the scene having Simon and Jon holding both my arms. I could hear the steps of both mine
and the spiders trying to come at us. Glancing behind me, the bugs spilled everywhere in the cave like a flood trying to swallow us up. I
didn't know where I was going, but it's definitely not near the man-eating spiders.
+Normal POV+
"What happened to Tim, Jon and Simon?" Emile asked.
"Oh s****!" Lewis now realizing began rushing outside into the darkness. Leaving Emile and Duncan inside the house.
"Wait, I'm coming with you!" Emile called out to him. As the two ran towards the field, where Emile cut down all the trees. They came to a
lit hole in the ground, but surrounded with Zombies, Skeletons, and to top it all off a few Creepers.
"Oh for God's sake!" Lewis yelled "Here take this sword." Emile caught the iron sword, he turned it to show a name engraved in the shining metal.
"Why does is it say Charlene?" Emile asked "Also, where did you get it?"
"Doesn't matter!" Lewis said "Get ready to fight!"
"What? Are you nuts!?" Emile questioned.
"It's fine, just follow my lead." Lewis patted Emile's back gently "Trust me."
"Okay!" Emile's body was tensed up, he couldn't hold the sword still.
"Ready?"
"Ready!" Both men rushed into the mob of monsters. Emile hacked many creatures' heads off, while Lewis stabbed spiders in the abdomen, low kicking each skeleton in the way. Both men suddenly heard a faint sound, like wind.
"What was that?" Emile wondered. The yells were getting closer and echoed as they bounced from the hole. To his surprise, it was Tim, Jon, and Simon running.
"Get moving go!" Jon told them, he grabbed a hold of Emile's hand and Simon holding Lewis's.
"What's happening?!" Lewis asked loudly while being dragged.
"No time just run!" Tim replied.
+Duncan's POV+
Hidou... hidou... that word kept circling my mind. I could hear many monsters coming to the base, sounded like millions. I unsheathed my deep green sword from my coat and readied myself.
"Open the door, Duncan!"
"Come on!"
"There's too many monsters!" Wait a second that's Lewis's voice, I hurried to open the door for my friends. Making a slight opening all the guys pushed me aside along with the door.
"Sorry, Duncan, too many spiders, we couldn't handle it," Lewis apologized to me.
"Good thing you opened the door fast, we would have been goners!" Jon added.
+Normal POV+
As the men were getting ready for bed, nobody noticed the two other men outside the base. They glanced at each other with wide grins on their faces.
"Hey, is there someone out there!?" Emile called out when he opened up the door. Looking around nobody was in his sight, he gently closed the door.
"He didn't spot us."
"Fantastic."
