This is dedicated to my dear friend Lucia
for her BIRTHDAY today!

To a girl who, makes the serious effort to walk through the world with her eyes open to the beauty that there is in this life. It's sometimes not easy to see, but with practice, it's there. It's reflected all around, and sometimes, in places, we'd least expect it.

Of course, in this image, it is of the literal sense, and quite obvious, but when we forget or can't find it, an image like this, could help to remind us, or comfort us, during times of cold weather, and when we might be stuck indoors.

Lucia... is AWESOME! She has a great attitude. She's absolutely one of the sweetest people I've ever met, since I've known her, and she makes great comments- she's so supportive of me!
And she creates the CUTEST art! She's very creative and imaginative. Her own work has it's own kind of beauty!! I love it.
