Description
A birthday gift for who owns Starla and Max and yes, I know it isn't until near the end of the month.The story goes that Starla got invited to test a product for a little known company called Joke Inc. Unfortunately, it turns out they wanted someone to become the product and now she is a robotic clown toy named Smiley Star. She was sent back home to Max as a form of promotion but despite her own mind being locked away somewhere in the robot, Max was able use his mind reading ability to be able to hear her.
Max: Starla? Is that you?
Starla's mind: Sort of, I got turned into this thing and now I can't control myself at all. All I can do is think while my body is being controlled by something else. They used so many needles and saws.
Max: Is there a way to make you physically talk?
Starla's mind: Just call it by its name which is Smiley Star then ask it anything.
Max: Okay, I will try. Smiley Star?
Smiley Star: Listening.
Max: What are you.
Starla's mind: Wait, no I thought.....
Smiley Star: I am an entertainment robot designed to amuse through the art of clowning.
Starla's mind: Just ask it how to turn me back.
Max: Smiley Star?
Smiley Star: Listening.
Max: Can you be turned back?
Smiley Star: A bottle of Joke Inc's special liquid is located in a storage area in my back. Once poured into my mouth, I will turn back into the human I once was.
Starla's mind: Good now you can....
Max: Smiley Star?
Starla's mind: Huh? What are you doing?
Smiley Star: Listening.
Max: What can you do?
Smiley Star: Through certain commands, I can do a variety of silly functions.
Max: Hmmmm....
Starla's mind: Max, don't.
Max: Smiley Star?
Starla's mind: DON'T!
Smiley Star: Listening.
Max: Honk a horn.
Smiley pulls out a clown horn and squeezes it. It lets out loud sound.
Starla's mind: Okay, you had your fun. Now please just....
Max grins.
Max: Smiley Star?
Starla's mind: NO!
Smiley Star: Listening?
Max: Juggle while tap dancing.
Starla's mind: STOP!
Five colourful balls pop out of Smiley's mouth and into her hands. She tap dances as she juggles.
Starla's mind: Make it stop. I can actually feel all this.
Max: Smiley, put on some music.
Smiley opens her mouth and a small speaker appears in it. It blasts typical circus music.
Starla's mind: QUIT IT NOW! TURN ME BACK.
Max: Hmmm lets not do that just yet.
Starla's mind: Why?
Max: I want to show you to your dad and see his reaction.
Starla blushes, mentally of course as Max commands Smiley to follow him out of the house.
