tecsun — building?

Description well, this is my 1st work done in 3dsmax. the hammer isn't perfect, it's not round as i expect, same as what i last done in maya.... ok, anyone know how to make it round? (the hammer is done start with polygone cube)

if its made in 3dsm then put it in meshsmooth

I hav try tis but i cant get my expected result, as u see in the pic, ther r 2 head of the hammer, one is round n other is flat n sharp corner. when i use mesh smooth, the sharp corner one turn round (I wan it to be sharp n flat)... mayb i did sth wrong. So, can u pls explain how to use meshsmooth without affect the sharp side? thx a lot!
