Re-uploaded with better lighting.a drawing of a path (with a few embellishments and artist license) I had encountered in my time in Montenegro
originally I was not a fan of this and actually wanted to throw it away.
after deciding not to throw it away I had gifted a print to a dear friend of mine who happened to adore it. She would comment about it and make vistors admire it whenever arrived at her place.
I was told that when she was on her deathbed she had looked up at it and it was the last thing she ever looked at. I didn’t know how to take that and was always ashamed that I had gifted her something I was never proud of. As time went by I was constantly told that it was her favourite gift that she possessed and that it brought her the greatest of joys.
It was then that I realised that the true value of art will forever be dictated by the eye of the beholder.
