Description My charcater, Calejo This poor boy hasn't had it too easy, he's lost both his left arm and most of his right air, and also has several scars on his body >.<
Though don't be fooled, he's still an excellent fighter!

Thoughts and tips on how I can better are greatly appreciated!

I never commented on this? Oh well, here goes: I like it One thing I enjoy is that the pose is far more natural now than some of your earlier drawings where they were a bit stiff, he looks more alive this way. The shading is simple, but it does what it is supposed to do - adding form to your character. Lastly - it's a very original character and I'd be interested in seeing what kind of situations he would be in and how he solved problems with the obvious handicap that he has. Keep up the good work

I tried to give it a more relaxed, and, well, natural look, so I'm glad it worked out better than before!

I love those scars and his design though, he looks so intense!

I'm so glad you think so, it makes me really happy, you made my day!  
But yes, he has indeed been through a lot >.< Don't even know where to begin XP But most of his scars he's gotten in fights throught the years The arm, and also ear, he lost in a battle with an arabian blademaster that had seld Calejo as a slave when he was young. As Calejo gew up, he wanted revenge on the blademaster that had done him so much wrong, so he left America (in which he currently residents in, and has been for many year, though in the story he's in, the time is around 2300 somewhere ) and went to Arabia and searched him out and challanged him to a battle, with the intention of killing him. He managed to do that, but at a fairly grat price, as he ...well, yeah, lost his arm and ear, and also got several other injuries that were quite severe. But he lived, and returned to the woman he lives with and serves

Thank you! Well, he's learned to live with his handicap and grown quite accoustumed to it now, so it doesn't handicap him too much in his daily life! Surely some tasks are more challanging than before (he's not a knitting-master for example), but he manges!
