My sleep cycle is going back to normal, and I feel a bit better! but also art blocked. So here's an art experiment to help me break this block.

Treecko is my all-time favorite grass type (maybe starter, too) and it's been a while since I did art experiments, so they're my guinea pigs this time. For this one I was testing out character design tips! I saw a tutorial on how to avoid same face syndrome , and it's basically a matter of playing with shapes. So I tried applying those shapes not only to faces, but also the character's entire body. And it worked!

I learned there's so, so much you can do to make pokemon distinct from each other. Their body type is one thing, but there's also age, height, weight, eye shape, items and accessories, markings, personality, disposition... I've only scrapped the surface of what you can do with a pokemon design. Limitless possibilities! (º0°)/)
