Description It's getting colder now. They say we might be getting snow soon.
People are already seeing auroras in the sky. Sadly not in the area where I live.
I feel the winter blues slowly coming on...

Decided to go with something more semi-realistic for a change. Haven't done crosshatching in a long time either. I kinda lost momentum after a while though so the background is pretty meh.
I'm so behind with my Inktober stuff. Nuu.

Damn some peeps are seeing aurora borealis? T.T

This looks so great and I fuckin' love crosshatching haha. Works so well with the background,
and the bold lines and shading--just ugh xD.

Yeah. We get it here every now and then. Though it's kinda early this year.
If it makes you feel any better, it was too cloudy where I live so I didn't see anything.
Thank you so much for your lovely compliments. It's very encouraging. ^^

Love the details. You are very versatile with your styles.

Aww, why thank you.
Yeah...I'm really indecisive about which direction I want my art style to develop. So I'm going all over the place trying out different stuff... no idea if that's useful or not.

It's better to be able to take on any style as opposed to being stuck to one style. It opens a lot more job opportunities.

Oh yes, that ought to be true. At least I've kinda got that going for me.
It's just on the other hand it would be nice to have a style that people could recognize. A signature style.

I keep changing my style bit by bit every year lol

But your style is still recognizable even if it is changing.
Oh man, stagnation has to be one of the worst things that could happen to an artist. We must keep evolving!

OMG... Sooo nice.
Auroras, hmm? Never saw it real life. I haven't seen even snow for few years in my country, because last few years it is mostly just raining and the snow becomes that annoying wet slush with the road salt, that is only good for etching your shoes.

Yeah, we get them here but they're not as magnificent as the ones more up north.
I've only seen it once though and it was just a stream of white light in the sky really far away...not very interesting, sadly.
The last couple of winters here haven't been all that great either. Back when I was still in high school walking to school in -25 degrees Celsius was the norm in winter. The last couple of years it was usually around -15 during day time. There was snow but not enough for it too look like a Christmas postcard.
I do hope we'll get a proper winter soon though. Maybe then we'll also finally get a proper warm summer. Haven't had one of those in a while either.
I blame global warming.

Me too. I remember those winters when the snowdrifts were higher than our cottage and one had to dig his way through like the Fellowship of the Ring on Caradhras.
This year I am supposed to go on school skying course, but I am really curious what we will be doing there without the snow.
And this summer temperatures above 40°C?! Ehh... one more year like that and I am moving to Canada.

For me it's the opposite. If we don't get at least 25 degrees of warmth for longer that a couple of days next summer either I'll be leaving for the Mediterranean area. God damn it, I want more warmth! xD
