Just to let you know, in future pictures when you pose with swords one handed, your hands should be further up the hilt. In the current positions if you were to actually attempt to defend or swing with them, there wouldn't be enough force behind them in the attack, and in defense they wouldn't be able to protect as they would be flung from your hands with ease. o3o Okay, there's the criticism for the day, Love the photo Keep up the good work.

xD Well, my photographer actually took kendo and that's the way he told me to hold them, at least when they were dueling swords. But meh. I was just doing what I was told xD Thanks though. ^^

Thanks for the critique.
For one you are correct and it would haven taken awhile to teach and demonstrate more proper technique, and that would leave less time for photos. Second of all what is practical does not always make for great photos. This kind of thing is common in a lot of video games, movies, photos and anime. Take for example this photo, [link] does this make any sense? The idea behind was taken from something I saw from a video game (it may have been Zhou Thai Dynasty Warriors?). The swords would be waves in a spinning motion and you would force by constantly moving. Alternatively you could have the front sword defend and the back sword attack. So even if it was flung from her hand the back sword could easily follow up.

Not sure about the physics here, but one could question the physics where everybody is taken out in one punch in countless action movies.

That is correct about the movies, though it isn't impossible, there are area's in the body that you can hit that would cause someone to collasp the first time.

And as for the follow up with the second blade, the first blade may of been flung from her hand but the second blade wouldn't of proved much use, the strength wouldn't be there and a block could easily be managed against it. And it doesn't take long to show where the hands should go. The pose is nearly correct, and wouldn't of taken much time.
