My derp children! I never draw you enough.
I was in the mood to draw something actiony and I wanted to try out some new poses! And it was super fun! I want to draw more, but I'm already waaay behind on my latest chapter.
So we have Lawk and Dinn fighting back to back against some nasty Invaders (hense the green goo on Lawk's spear). I took some influence from other fantasy artists (namely 0laffson and DanoGambler ) and added some more detail and accessories to Lawk's outfit. I borrowed a lot from the Guild Wars ritualist class . The magical effects were also a blast to color! I tried to make the earth magic appear dusty, since when Lawk channels his earth magic, his hand glows an aura that resembles gold dust. I think it came out pretty good. ^_^ Also please let me know about the quality of the photo. I've been told by multiple people that it looks fine, but it still looks off to me. Probably my perfectionism talking.
Managed to get a pretty good scan! Thanks to my friend for helping me out with Lawk's earth aura!

Yeah, sorry about that. As much as I hate spoiling stuff, it really limits to what I can draw. It's hard because I want to draw the dramatic moments as comics one day, but it could be a big reveal for those who haven't read my story. I'll try not to draw super spoilery stuff, but if I do I can let you know ahead of time so you can immediately delete the drawing from your notifications.
