I made this chibi for - you can see her male character "Ruin" here! ♥
The first thumbnail here shows the original reference she gave me, then I showed her a preview of this chibi and look at the new reference >vvv<
I am really glad she liked the changes, I feel so honored ;////;! ♥♥♥ *jumps around*
...she actually bribed me to draw this *DIES* IT WORKED OF COURSE.
Only bad thing is that the new reference shows that his hair is wrong here XD *SOBBING FOREVER*
He seems like a cute character! ♥ (who gave me the opportunity to add a blush ! Yes!)

I'd suggest looking at basic digital colouring tutorials on deviantArt and then finding your way around >-<
Sorry I'm not of much help, but I basically only use SAIs pen and watertool for colouring and...experiment ;u;°
