Ariel is the only red-head I have ever seen who looks good in red.

I think it's one of the prettiest princess dresses, yet everybody hates it!!! Disneyland even chickened out and gives her a blue dress in the meet and greet etc. I really think they should have kept it pink...

I LOVE this dress! I don't know WHY all my friends hate it! It's my favorite Disney princess dress, even more so then BELLE'S, which is GORGEOUS!!! I just LOVE those sleeves!

I never understood why people say pink doesn't go with red. :/ I've always liked the combination and I love this dress on Ariel! (I get excited when I see her in it on merchandise :3) She's so adorable and I think pink is a good color to describe her. Though I also love the sea-foam/blue dress they have her wear in the Disney Parks...it's also pretty.

Anyway,I love her facial expression! It really captures her excitement!

I like the green dress, although it bugs me that it's short-sleeved. I'm sure it's cooler for the parks, but the other girls mostly have sleeves or gloves, so that doesn't seem like it should matter.

I wonder if they make it long-sleeved for her in the winter at least. I don't think they put as much time or thought into Ariel's park dresses because she also has a fin. :'x

I still have no idea why people complain so hard about Ariel wearing a pink dress. When I was a little girl I thought it was THE SHIZ and I still do. Particularly because it's such a lovely shade of pink, which you emulated to a T. Tee. Tea? Tiiiii. Redheads can do pink everyone, so stfu.

I think was pretty excited too, because she herself came from a middle class family and was a very modest girl, ifand remember, she didn't even want to look pretty for him in the first place

I know many people think redheads can't wear pink (maybe we all take Anne Shirley's thoughts to heart?), but--seriously--Ariel was (is) simply gorgeous in this gown. I *still* want one for me, even with my mousey brown hair!

People say this, but it never made sense to me. I think redheads look nice in pink.

Even if I didn't, Ariel's hair isn't red like real people's - it's really red. Pink is tinted red. I'm not sure where the idea that they don't go together comes from, but I think it's ridiculous.

And in any case, Ariel is HAWT.

Very true. I think most red-heads have orange hair which could clash with pink. Then again, orange isn't an extremely harmonious color in my mind.

most of us red-heads get pissed when we're told our hair is orange... just a warning XD

I LOVE the movement of this! especially the dress, if only disney cold put this mch detailing in entire films (dont get me wrong, when they detail, they DETAIL, and its amazing, but I'd like to see more shading and cloth folds)
