I was prideful, foolish and afraid. Afraid of what these feelings that were bubbling up for you meant. And in my fear, I had inevitably hurt you by pushing you away. But god after you left, I realized how much I missed you, your jokes and antics, your loving indulgences, your company.

And it was awful to see what I had done to you, to see that light snuffed out by my actions. I had spent weeks pacing in front of the Floo, debating on visiting your little joke shop, but finding myself unable to approach you.

And when you said you were back, that's when I realized, I needed to do this the right way. To ask for your forgiveness, and to court you properly this time.
