ALL RIGHTY! Here we go, my 2010 art summary meme. WOW, this has been a year... this is much better than my last year art summary. (My last year, for the record: )

A lot of pictures were VERY hard to choose this time around, just because I did SO MUCH ART. Probably more than half my gallery is comprised of stuff from 2010, this has really been a GREAT year for being productive! Have I gotten any better, though? I honestly can't even tell anymore. I can say for sure, though... there's definitely a lot more color this year than there was last year!

January: Action!Trean!! This was a fun one, spurred by my New Year's resolution to do more action/backgrounds/complicated compositions. I've had varying success with that this year.
February: Trean/Orethiel breakupsad. This one actually had a full background!
March: Painted Rian, inspired by Rossetti. My first ever finished "lineless" painting. Sometimes lineless is worth the effort, sometimes not.
April: Xelosian lady. Liked the colors/lighting here.
May: Action!Rian! I've been digging the weapon poses this year, even if they're still just single-character compositions.
June: MmmmmMalachi. I think I said this in my last-year one too.
July: This was a VERY hard month to pick, I had like four pictures I wanted to put here, but since this was a top contender I had to give Fae some representin'.
August: Smut exchange piece for ~ninanai . This was easily the highlight of August, which kind of sucked artwise for me. >_<
September: Trean/Zarael kissies! Again, this was an easy one to pick; there wasn't much I liked in September.
October: Okay, this is when Leland and Claris showed up and staged a hostile takeover of my brain. Funny thing about vampires- since you can only draw them at night, it kind of forces you to work in a darker palette if you're used to sunny, bright colors. That's been the case for these last few months, because I've been drawing these guys non-stop.
November: Gratuitous hot Leland. Work is very obviously taking its toll on my time. I have MUCH less time to work on complicated compositions, so this is pretty much the most I can manage. T__T
December: Claris breakupsad! So many breakups for my characters, it's all so tragic.

But anyway, that's that. Thank you all so much for sticking with me this year... and to anyone new, thanks for hopping on board! I hope my next year one looks MUCH more awesome than this.
