I was digging through some old art files this weekend and came across an old nameless alien creature design I never posted (left). The design held up surprisingly well still, and I think I like him more now due to enjoying Mass Effect recently. I was imagining him as a favorite Krogan pet - both cute and tough! So I drew him again (right).
I showed him to a friend who’s into alien creatures, in which she affectionately called him a “frog dog.” Seeing as that’s better than anything I could have come up with, that’s the canon name now.

Welp. Here's the next crazy alien who'll invade the planet. But fighting them off won't be easy since frogs are capable of surviving illnesses, and water. (*sighs* Those stupid films...) That would be a cool pet though.

Water was definitely pretty silly. But I think us having an immunity to bacteria that aliens wouldn't would make sense hehe. I've heard how if we went into the future, we'd possibly die from "future bacteria" making us sick. And if we went into the past, we'd make everybody else sick.
