I am that is, indeed. I love the determined expression Martin has on; he looks ready to tackle on enemies! And I agree with Kelaiah when I say that he almost looks a litter otter-y, mainly with the tail and legs. The post is kind of alright, but not bad for an action post, I say. Well done! (:

I think you were right to avoid the cliche of doing his pose in the tapestry. This is more original, plus realistically, you *have* to be agile and action-y to be a warrior - I mean, come on, in that kind of life, swords, arrows and spears are flying at you from all sides!

Overall, I think this is a great pose and a great design, but he looks too 'ottery'. I'd say make his tail much thinner and longer, and make his legs more spindly. Maybe his shoulders/chest could stand to be a bit broader, since Martin is depicted in the books as sturdily built. Also, his sword should be much longer (once, whenΒ I was designing a character with a sword, one of my viewers kept on telling me about how swords are generally really long, and looking over some real life swords, I saw he was right ).

Good point you state in the text. Martin is most of a static, heroic type.
