AFTER i knew that affyre was going to be mine i decided i wanted to get another herd member, this time i was on the hunt for a stallion! when 2569 showed up in For adoption i urgently messaged the owner of the ad and soon got a reply, this gorgeous boy was listed as a classic champagne tobiano, tobiano is one of my favourite coat patterns and he looked so elegant waltzing around in the video that was attached in the advertisement.
i sent the ad owner a message and waited anxiously starring at my phone until a notification popped up saying that his owner wanted to set up a meeting to talk about why i wanted him and all that. me and the owner set up a date and time we would meet at her yard so i could also come view him.

--- time skip: a week later ---

after a week had passed i hoped in my truck and hoped that this would be the day that we confirmed that i would become the new owner of the elegant shimmering stallion, after a couple hours of driving i stopped to get some lunch at a gas station and then carried on the rest of the way to the stallion owners yard, i had made one trip here before for affyre so i knew the route but not to the best capability as the one trip waws engrained in my head.
i arrived at the stallion owners yard, while i was going down the driveway towards the front of the main barn i started to notice the different horses in the pastures on either side of the driveway, then that's when i spotted him, the stallion was cantering away from his handler as she was trying to probably catch him to bring him into the stables to groom him before i got there, i felt so bad that the owner had to catch him by themselves so i stopped on the side of the driveway and called out to her saying "sorry i am early, i was just too excited and also didn't know what the traffic would be like" she assured me it was fine as the stallion pulled to a stop once close to the yard owner.
i think he was a little bit of a scumbag because as soon as he saw me watching he gracefully started to walk back to the yard owner to be caught, he allowed her to put the lead-rope and halter on and then when she started walking on i climbed back into my truck and drove to the parking lot round the side of the main barn, this is where the yard owner met me formally and told me to follow her into the biggest barn i had probably ever seen, this one was a lot bigger than the mare one but it was also more cramped.
after finishing the meeting and sighting of the horse and his behaviour it was time for me to leave and go back to the hotel i had booked for the night as it was late afternoon and i wouldn't have been home till around 12am.
i was buzzing with excitement for the whole time i was waiting to see this stallion and now i cant stop thinking about him any less as she shone in the sun when he was in the pasture, i really hoped the owner decided i would be the right fit for him.
