"Speaking of Chol, have you investigated him?" Jennifer asks.
Giving her a confused look; "It's not always smart to make your bosses angry, so why would I have done that?"
"According to my intel Chol may have super abilities." Jennifer informs him.
"Where'd you get your intel?" Jack asks skeptically.
"Remember when the Consortium was trying so hard to find something Thomas Baylor had before he died?" Jennifer reminds him; "Well I found it. You said that the Consortium members didn't trust each other and you were right. Baylor had digital files on all the other members, including all the evil shit they pulled over the years. And Chol's didn't match with his official files, at all."
"What'd they say?" Jack demands.
"I'll give you a copy of all the files, but the Reader's Digest version is that Chol spent most of his childhood in a mental institute. Hertford Mental Institute." Jennifer informs him.
"Hertford? Why does that sound familiar?" Jack says in a puzzled voice.
"Because four years ago SECTOR was called in when the place burned to the ground and they found evidence that several of the patients had been experimented on." Jennifer says. "I checked it out, and according to the reports most of the staff and patients were killed in the fire. But Baylor's files claim that Chol survived, ran off during the fire, and falsified his identity."
"That, wouldn't be possible." Jack says in disbelief. "All the Consortium members get vetted pretty thoroughly. They have to be since they have to have Top Secret security clearances, or higher."
"I wouldn't say it's impossible, it depends on what abilities he may have." Jennifer insists.
Thinking for a moment, Jack says; "Maybe Baylor's files are wrong."
With a wry smile; "Baylor was trusting his life to the accuracy of those files. I'm pretty sure the rest of the Consortium would have killed him long ago if they were wrong."
"You get me the files and I'll check em out." Jack tells her; "I remember the reports on some of those patients, they were all criminally insane if I'm remembering right."
