Description Just kinda adding to my Black White Red serries. This was taken in Nara last weekend when I was boarded and felt like getting out of the house.

Why are those "shirts" put on the stones? Is it a tradition? Or just for the photo-shooting?

they are meant to protect the stones and keep the "people" living inside them warm, I think. And no, not just for the shooting, you can find them all over the place here in Japan.

oh my god D200~

o well, you are in japan so you get some advantages over equipments

anways, i think it would be better if you made a deeper DOF with a smaller aperture ^^

Great use of color focus. It's a scene that I certainly don't see everyday.

thanks alot. It is kinda something you see alot here in Japan, but I still like the feeling of it for sure. You can find these in some pretty creepy spots though, kinda scary sometimes.

great - the red with the B&W works well in this shot

Though it leaves me wondering - i assume these are graves - so what do the red banners mean?
