Contest piece for the private server I play on, EssenceRO.
Trevante Deschain is a custom server add into Lighthalzen dungeon 4. OTL; So.. they needed people to illustrate his card. And this is the crap I came up with.

Job level 40 or higher. The max job level you can get to is 50 on first class. After that, you'll need to be a base level 99 sniper or bard to reborn.

x__x; Yeah~ I know what you mean. But most of the time, my so called 'inspiration' is when I actually have a picture in my head to draw, that's down to every minute detail [Though I fail at transfering that to paper OTL;], and finding references for something that matches the pose I'm aiming for perfectly is really hard. @__@; I guess I have to learn to make adjustments, but I'm not used to using references in total. D;
Should probably help me a ton if I did though.
What do you usually use for reference? Google, or do you use a magazine? I think hardcopy things works better for me. x__x;

as regarding to references.. yes, that is the same for me now actually for simplistic poses that do not require sooo much perspective.. but when it comes to drawing in angles.. it matters... a lot. ( or at least to me ) so i rather dig up some similar poses.. ( nothing can be TOTALLY the same of course ) and .. yes.. use them like they are.. XD references. similar poses can help and the rest you can just imagine how itd look..
i also usually look at photos of people.. deviantart... ( stock photos ) or on google.. or i look around at other people's drawings that seem "right" to me.. if all else fails.. i draw it in another position that is closer to the references available to me..
magazine works too xD but really.. the best thing you can do is look at a mirror LOL and do the pose yourself D:::: it helps lots.. xD;;

I think the coloring is great!
The only thing that concerns me is the pose of the left arm as to the
way the body is turned. The gun looks cool! I can't do them. I tried once
and it was so bad I just made it all black >_>
